Use Them To Help Balance Your PH!
Okay, okay, I know what you’re thinking, What a bad play on an old cliche, right? But it’s true! The way the old saying goes is that when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. But in today’s world, with so many studies being done, we know that the sugar in lemonade contributes to many health related issues, so skip the unnecessary sugar. One thing to remember, while organic lemon juice is a great start to balancing your PH and helping cleanse your liver, the acid in the juice can lead to dental enamel erosion. Why if lemon is so acidic would you use this to help your PH? The answer is that after digestion the chemical compound of the citrus is turned alkaline. Since the alkaline comes after digestion a better solution to ingest the lemon would be to add a drop or two of pure high grade, grade A or Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade lemon essential oil to your glass of water. (when drinking anything with essential oils, use glass, ceramic or stainless steel containers only) Taken internally, Lemon provides cleansing and digestive benefits and supports healthy respiratory function. When diffused, Lemon is very uplifting and energizing and has been shown to help improve mood. An added benefit to the essential oil versus the lemon juice is that the rind of the lemon contains d-limonene, a natural chemical that aids in the digestion and may aid in the fight against cancer cells.

With lemon, as with any essential oils you intend to take internally, make sure it is labeled for consumption. Remember, less is more and a little goes a long way when it comes to essential oils. If sensitivity occurs when using essential oils, consult a physician.
